Description | Chuzghun Resource Corporation (CRC) is a non-profit jointly owned by Binche Whut’en, Tl’azt’en Nation, and the University of Northern British Columbia, for the purpose of seeking ways to combine scientific and indigenous approaches to innovative land management that integrate and enhance multiple resources values and contribute to the ecological and social stability of the region. CRC manages the John Prince Research Forest (JPRF), 16,682 ha of forest land, falling within the traditional territories of Binche Whut’en, Nakaz’li Whut’en, Tl’azt’en and Yekooche First Nations, as a natural resource research and educational facility. |
